In this 1:1 50-minute class, singers will learn to unleash the vocal artist within!  As a certified vocal coach with a professional background as a singer and a professional actress, I help aspiring and experienced singers improve their singing voice by applying vocal exercises tailored to their specific voice type and unique vocal problem areas, develop their live performance skills using acting and interpretation techniques and build their confidence as captivating live performing vocal artists.  Do you want to improve your singing voice quickly and efficiently with vocal exercises that address your specific voice type, avoid vocal damage, and apply acting techniques to captivate your audience with your performance?! Yes!? Then, this is the right class for you. This class is for new singers, professional singers, and musical theater performers alike as their lessons are specifically tailored to the student's individual skill level, goals, and interests! We will cover the following topics throughout our singing lessons: *Singer Psychology, Mental Health + Singing*Singer's Diet + Lifestyle *Vocal Anatomy and the Mixed Voice Method (Different voice registers, Power + Stamina,   Strain Relief, Pitch + Ear Training, & Vocal Bridges) *Performing with Soul - Style + Storytelling using acting and performance techniques   (Confidence + Emotion, Mimicking Great Singers, Rythm + Tempo, Stage Presence) Singers will work on songs they've personally chosen; the teacher will also guide the student in exploring new song choices that suit their unique voice type and style.  🎤💫WEEKLY ONGOING CLASSES: For steady vocal improvement and long-term vocal cord muscle development, once-weekly lessons are recommended. Lessons will start with a 5-to-10-minute vocal warm-up prescribed to the student based on their specific voice type and vocal problem areas. During each lesson posture, breath support, and vocal techniques will be applied and addressed throughout the lesson. After vocal warm-ups the student will sing their song of choice and the teacher will break down problem areas in order to correct improper singing techniques, vocal exercises will be prescribed to correct the issue, and the vocal exercise(s) will be performed by the student over the melody of the song. Then, the student will perform the song again with the new placement and technique in mind and on hand. The vocal coach will continue to build the student's technique from lesson to lesson.
